Tens of people can be seen watching the men save the baby in shock and horror as they witnessed both a miracle and a tragedy.

It is believed the child survived and is currently healthy despite its’ first moments of life being in the centre of a global tragedy.

It is thought the mother along with the rest of the family sadly died after they were crushed by a collapsed building following an earthquake in Syria.

The video did not clarify the fate of the child’s mother, but it is widely reported in syrian media she died immediately after giving birth.
