My dad and mom were very loving couple. But soon, my mom passed away, and my dad was left alone.
He was bored at home all day alone. I didn’t have a family yet.
So one day my father told me that he wanted to change his life, to meet new people.
I offered him to take him to a nursing home.
There he would meet new people and his life wouldn’t be so boring.
I don’t regret this decision a minute, because now he feels better and happier.
I visit him every 2 days, take food and necessary things. I tell him that if he wants, I can take him back home.
